Since April, 2010. Connect Youth based at S.G.D.H.S. Prescott has been filling a gap in community services providing ongoing support to youths ages 16 – 21.
Some areas of their youth advocacy include providing transitional housing support for homeless/couch surfing youth, crisis intervention, rural outreach, life skills workshops, transportation, employment, clothing, and food.
For past year, member of St. James’ have been donating money and food items to help with their daily lunch program at the high school where up to 25 students lunch daily.
Our Parish Nurse, Allana Dobson, is an actively involved member of their Board.
