Earlier this month, the Anglican women of our region met at St Lawrence Church Brockville. Not only was the place filled with women having great fellowship, and all the clergy of our region, but we were treated to a wonderful guest speaker.
Julie Case, from our region, spoke about the wonderful and exciting work of “Agape” a coalition taking in refugees who are most vulnerable. She gave an inspiring presentation and we shared a wonderful lunch following.
The bishop celebrated Holy Communion and preached.
