Bishop Adam, a first Nations bishop in Northern Saskatchewan wrote a letter to us sharing his deep gratitude for St. John’s sending a donation from the Maude Smith legacy.
A donation of $6000.00 was sent to the James Settee School for teaching and support of indigenous clergy and lay ministers in Saskatchewan. They do a key work in educating and preparing ministers for the imperative work they do in the north.
We’ve had Dr. Graber here to speak about this work before and the work is strengthened from our support.
