On Tuesday night at youth group after singing carols at Mayfield Retirement home, eating dinner, and exchanging gifts, each youth was given a gift and card from us. In each card we had written the meaning of each person’s name, and a scripture that related to the meaning of their name.
We then talked about why God would have called Jesus Immanuel and had Isaiah write this down 700 year before Jesus birth.
The youth tonight learned ‘Whose” they were, and in this world that tells them so much about what they should be, they needed to spend some time thinking about ‘Whose child they are”.
